Imagine opening your credit card statement one morning and
discovering to your horror that you suddenly owe thousands
of dollars - on purchases that you never made.

Impossible?

Credit card fraud on the rise, so you need to treat your
card and its information with extreme care.

Here are 10 tips to help insure you're not the victim of
thieves and fraudsters:

1. Sign new and replacement cards immediately.

2. Destroy the old cards by cutting them into pieces and
shred all old receipts and bills.

3. Don't fax your credit-card number, if possible. Remember,
the faxed document could remain in sight at the other end
for long periods of time.

4. Don't give your card number over the phone unless you
have initiated the call.

5. Destroy any carbon paper if it's used as part of the
credit card transaction. Somebody can grab it and forge
your signature.

6. Don't respond to any "scam" e-mails requesting your
credit card number.

7. Never send your credit card number in an e-mail to
anyone!

8. A good option for discouraging theft is to choose a
credit card that includes your photo and signature on the
card.

9. If you have questions about mistakes or unauthorized
items on your statement, you have the right to challenge
them.

10. If your card is lost, stolen, or you suspect fraudulent
use, call your company's 24-hour hotline immediately to
prevent your card from being used as little as possible. The
company will block its use, and you won't be responsible for
any charges made by thieves.

You'll never deter fraudsters completely. But you can
certainly make life as difficult as possible for them.
I wish you utilize it.

Ask individuals to link to your site's content. Some
people may not desire to link to your home page but
might desire to link to your site content. Just include an
attention-grabbing link or detailed on the content
side that leads people to your home page or sales
letter.

Convert your web content into an e-book. You could
propose your e-book as a free reward for your products
and services or another business? product. This will
also allow people to view your web site offline as well. You
could put it on a CD-ROM and include it in your
direct post packages.

Develop e-books for other web sites or businesses.
You could create them for no charge in trade
for an ad or a point out of your web site contents. You
could also create them in exchange for getting the
reprint rights to them. You would never require your
own product to exchange.

Make sure your classified ads don't sound similar
ads. Don't ask people to buy anything or they
won't click, deliver something away instead. You
could also introduce a main profit. For instance,
"How To Lose 5 Pounds In Two Hours." Another
sample, "How To Write E-books quick!"

Provide your free bonus products and services extra perceived
value. Don't use the noun phrase "Free bonuses", use the
phrase "You will also get?". People won't accept
they're free and it will build the individual believe they
are value more money. People generally assume free
bonuses are just excess things from your business
that are not worth much.

Retain your visitors at your web site longer. The
longer they stay, the greater fortune they will buy.
Just hold a treasure chase contest on your web site.
Maintain them try to discover something like a graphic,
picture, word or link. You could give them a freebie
or cash as a prize for finding it.

Make sure you're usually creating new products
and services or improving old ones. Most products
or services won't stand the exam of time online. You
could charter a focus group to get ideas on how to
improve one of your existing products, or to think
up ideas for new ones.

Divide the expense of online advertising and marketing
by sharing a web site with a similar, non-competing
business. You would both put up half the cost. You
could rotate top positions on the home page. You
could also create products together and split the
profits.

Customize your products or services if you possess too
much rivalry. For example, if you're selling an
advertising book, rewrite piece of it and object it just
to pet businesses. Another example, if you're selling
an accounting software, you could change part of it to
trade it as business-to-business accounting software.

Sell a lead-in products super cheap, even if you
displace a small money. If people like it, you own a
greater fortune to sell your higher priced product.
For example, someone might buy your low priced
product, then buy your medium priced product,
then your elevated priced product.

Provide people a free form of your product. If
it does what you say, they will pay for the upgrade
or deluxe version to get more benefits. You could
also use a filled free product as the lead-in product.
If they like it, they might buy one of your associate
products.

Ask your visitors result questions in your ad
copy. For example, "Where do you desire to be
financially in the next two years?" Another example,
"What do you want your vision spouse to be like?"
This'll persuade them to buy so they might have a
chance to observation what's in their mind.

Give your product away for free to people who
will coincide to influence your target audience to buy it.
They could be experts, famous athletes, actors, etc.
You could ask them to inscribe a convincing
affirmation or testimonial for your product (if they
like it). It could be one for your ad or one for them
to send to their e-zine subscribers for affiliate
commissions.

Well, that's the end of my article. I hope you will
be able to use this information and thanks for taking
the time to review my article. You should continue
looking for additional information to help you.

9 Secret Ways To Get Valuable Feedback From Your Customers

You can learn many things you didn't know about your business by getting valuable feedback from your customers. Your customers may buy your main product just to get the free gifts. Your visitors may think it's to hard to navigate through your web site.

By knowing this type of important information you can improve your web site, products/services, advertising, and marketing. Below are nine techniques you can use to get valuable feedback from your customers.

-Use surveys and questionnaires regularly to improve your business. Publish them on your web site, e-zine, print newsletter, direct mail material, include them with product shipments or inside product packages. Post them on appropriate online message boards, e-mail discussion lists and newsgroups on the internet.

-Create an online community for your customers. Include a chat room, message board, e-mail discussion list on your site for customers to participate in. You can regularly moderator these communities to see what your customers are saying about your business.

-Give away your products to a group of your customers. Ask them to use and review the product. Ask them to fill out an evaluation form and send it back. Some customers may fill them out, some may not, but the feedback you do get will be valuable.

-Offer your web site visitors an online product or service from your web site at no cost. It could be an ebook, search engine submission, consulting via e-mail, web design, etc. In return, ask them to fill out a short survey about your web site, products or services you're selling, customer service, or your web site.

-Create a customer focus group. Invite ten to twenty of your most loyal customers to meet regularly. They will give you ideas and input on how to improve your customer service. You could pay them, take them out to dinner or give them free products.

-Stay in contact with customers on a regular basis. Offer them a free e-zine subscription. Ask customers if they want to be updated by e-mail when you make changes to your Web site. After every sale, follow-up with the customer to see if they are satisfied with their purchase.

-Make it easy for your customers to contact you. Offer as many contact methods as possible. Allow customers to contact you by e-mail. Hyperlink your e-mail address so customers won't have to type it. Offer toll free numbers for phone and fax contacts. This will make it easy for your customers to voice their opinions.

-You could regularly contact customers on birthdays or holidays. Send thank you gifts to lifetime customers. E-mail them online greeting cards on holidays or birthdays. Call them personally to wish them a happy holiday. You couldthem follow-up with a survey or ask them if they're happy with your business.

-Invite your customers to company meetings, luncheons, workshops or seminars. Create special events for your customers like parties, barbecue's, dances etc. Make a point for yourself and your employees to interact with them at these event to get valuable feedback for your business.

You could use a couple or all of the techniques listed above to get valuable customer feedback. These aren't the only ways, be creative and come up with some of your own.

Ten Tips to Communicating Clearly

Improve your marketing and your writing with a few simple, easy to remember tips.
Focus Pardon me while I completely butcher Rudyard Kipling: “If you can keep your focus while all around are losing theirs, than you’ll be a successful marketer my son…or daughter.” Focus, focus, focus. It’s the number one rule of communicating clearly. Without it all you’ve got is a formless group of ideas in search of a topic.

Find Your Voice Your company is a living, breathing entity. It speaks. What does it sound like? Is it informative or educational? Is it tongue-in-cheek, artsy, or technospeak? Find your voice, and then, just as importantly, stick to it. (PS: If you have trouble finding your company voice, look to your corporate identity – one should be reflective of the other.)

Make the Message Meaningful If you must say something, say something useful…or interesting…or truthful…or informative. “Delivering tomorrow’s needs today” is not a message. It’s a woefully overused tagline (and a bad one at that) and a waste of space.

Deliver the Right Message to the Right Audience Always try to communicate from the perspective of the intended audience. This will prevent you from dropping a ton of technical jargon on your unsuspecting non-technical customer base, making them feel stupid, and causing them to take it out on you by ripping your material to shreds and filing it in the garbage. In the same vein, don’t try to sell to a technical audience with vanilla marketing materials. Give the nuts and bolts crowd exactly what they crave…enough technical specs to choke an IT department.

Don’t Lie Don’t make statements you can’t prove, no matter how good they sound. Don’t say, “We’re the first in our market,” unless you have the data to back up the claim. But if you’ve got the blue ribbon to prove it, i.e., “According to Creamed Corn Magazine, we make the number one best selling brand in the country,” then by all means, toot that horn.

Keep Buzzword Compliance to a Minimum The appropriate use of industry-specific jargon is in support of your message, not in place of your message. If you don’t use words like “extensible” and “quantifiable” in your every day operations, than for goodness sake don’t put them in your marketing materials.

When in Doubt, KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid) Communicate one idea at a time and repeat it throughout your materials. Resist the desire to be all things to all people. Remember, marketing materials are not a personal ad.

Keep it Uniform Keep your messaging intact across multiple mediums in order to gain maximum recognition. Your website, printed materials, Powerpoint presentations, catalogs, and signage should all be reflective and supportive of each other.

Don’t Fall in Love with Your Creations When you become married to an idea you close yourself off to the possibility that there is a better word, design, concept, or idea out there. Always take suggestions.

Look at it, than walk away If it’s at all possible, after you’ve written, designed, or created any type of communication materials, leave it alone for a while. It’s amazing what kind of perspective you gain after a good night’s sleep. Things you never saw during the heat of creation suddenly jump out clear as day.

Marketing is the most important factors to increse your sales. From my experience, I always follow 10 secret ways to increase my sales. If you are struggling to increase your sales, Please follow these 10 marketing tips. You will discover something new to apply your marketing strategies.

1. Add a free interactive game to your web site. You could hire someone to create it. The game should be related to the theme of your web site.

2. Train your employees as a team instead of just individuals. Everyone must do their job in order for the others do theirs.

3. Make people feel like it's their idea to buy, they will be less hesitant. Tell them in your ad "You're making a smart decision for buying our product".

4. Promote yourself as well as your products. Write articles, ebooks, reports, etc. When you endorse products, people will think your statement is credible.

5. Show your prospects a group of testimonials that stand up for your product. People are more likely to agree with a group than have a different opinion.

6. Maximize your advertising budget and don't go broke like the big web sites. All you need is a small group of loyal customers to sell back end products.

7. Sell to the people that join your affiliate program. They are more likely to by your products because they are interested in selling them for commission.
